How to Show Speed Limits on Google Maps on an iPhone

This wikiHow teaches you how to make the Google Maps app display changes in the speed limit while you're on a trip.

    Open the Google Maps app. It's the multicolored icon with a white "G" on the Home Screen.

    Tap . You'll find this in the top left corner of the screen.

    Scroll down and tap Settings. It's in the third group of options listed here.

    Tap Navigation Settings.

    Slide the Show Speed Limits switch right to the "On" position. It will turn blue. Now Google Maps will notify you whenever the speed limit changes while you're driving.
    • If you don't see this option, your Google Maps is not yet up to date.
